j1m1 Amazed by The Warlocks since I heard “Rise & Fall, EP & Rarities”. Such a glorious revelation, a treasure. A perfect collection, fits together & fits me so well. An immersive experience, like an ecosystem & state of mind I could thrive in. It’s up there with “Exile..” by The Stones. Sincerely. Gimme every demo please, every outtake 😊. Extra Supa Dope Love ‘n’ Thanx. Keep Shakin’ That Dope Out (and putting it back in again) 🕊 Favorite track: Drive Faster, Come On Lets Go.

Charlie Mayer This record gives a rare inside look at the maturation of The Warlocks, and is truly a pleasure to listen to. Bobby Hescher (sp?) played for the Brian Jonestown Massacre, so one can hear a Methadrone-like influence throughout the songs. Well done! Favorite track: So Fucked Up On Valentines Day (Mastered).

Darkbrightly Band that vibrates the skull in delicious ways. Also here are fun glimpses into their influences - surf overtones, girl group flashes now and then. (And of course the big sweet heavy shit we all crave.) Favorite track: So Fucked Up On Valentines Day (Mastered).

about

The Warlocks Los Angeles, California

The Warlocks started because of the their mutual love of all things Rock and Roll. We love a lot of the 60s, 70s and some 80s inspired music. We are not a retro band though. We all always try new stuff and from time to time hit something great.
